i am a terrible excuse for a blogger.

So I've decided that I always intended to be fashionably late on my second installment, always the best way to be really.
(In reality I've had a crippling about of revision and exams, so much so I'm almost despairing)
To get me through these dark days I've been getting a boost of optimism from Golden Silvers (The perfect clash of Vampire Weekend and The Maccabees), and Peter Bjorn and John "Got Nothing To Worry About", which is a brilliant
song that I always manage to end up singing under my breath when entering/leaving the exam hall. (Hope it lives up to its promise...)
Also dragging me out from the revision mire of papers and textbooks are new purchases of the fabric variety.
One being my new Diesel Hi-tops (£20 TKMAXX)
I'd been stalk
ing these shoes for a good 3 weeks, as they seemed the more affordable version of the utterly amazing Diesel Glam Rocks. (I searched and searched for a cheaper pair of these but to no avail).
These have a similar large tongue and have the same monochrome pallet as the much desired Rick Owens Hi-Tops [which one day I SHALL own]

The other being this '1940s fly-away' jumper, brought to my attention by Stylesalvage, a blog which never ceases to impress and amaze me with their menswear finds and knowledge.

The online store The Good Shop is pretty much a treasure trove, the bambi-esque shorts are really something quite amazing, but alas I am not an XS gentleman (n)

Any who, wish me luck in my next series of exams (I'll need it)
Bring on the summer.
